The truth is hard to find. And it is even harder to say it outloud. Everyone has been in such a life situation. Especially when this truth is painful, it affects human fortunes, undermines people's trust, and causes social tension. Yet, the wisdom of timehas proven that truth always comes out. The later it is revealed, the higher the price. I helped in the process of writing the Law for disclosing the archives of the former secret services. I am familiar with the complexity of the matter. I was well aware of the dangers, the risks and the expected opposition. I participated directly in the wide political consensus that was reached by the 40th National Assembly when te law was adopted. The election of the members of the committee also proved to be painful and long. Many people were hoping that the committee would not work. To their disappointment, it did not happen. Today we work as a team regardless of our politicial affiliation. The reason  to be so united in action is simple - the law must be strictly followed. To the attacks claiming that the state system is undermined through its implementation, I would like to emphasize my opinion that the state is strong when the laws are respected.

He graduated from secondary school in electronics in Dobrich. Then in 1988 he graduated from the Police Academy - Sofia, main subject: “Protection of public order and traffic safety”. 
Evtim Kostadinov has a law degree from the “Chernorizets Hrabar”University – Varna.
